1. Job title - Video Editor Lead– Engineering and Technology

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Video Editor – Engineering and Technology, based in India. The role offers flexibility with some work-from-home opportunities. Daily responsibilities include editing videos, managing video production workflows, color grading, creating motion graphics, and designing related visual elements. The Video Editor will collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality content aligned with the organization's objectives in the engineering and technology space.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Video Production and Video Editing

• Experience with Video Color Grading for enhanced visual quality

• Skill in creating Motion Graphics and incorporating dynamic visual elements

• Proficiency in Graphics creation for video content

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project timelines

• Capability to work effectively both independently and in collaborative team settings

• Familiarity with advanced video editing software and tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects

• A degree or certification in Film Production, Media Studies, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred but not required

2. Job title - Video Editor Assistant – Engineering and Technology

We are expanding our media production team to create videos on topics related to engineering and technology. This role is ideal for candidates who have prior video editing experience or skill along with a basic understanding of engineering and science concepts.

What you will do

• Edit videos (short and long form)

• Create simple technical diagrams and explanatory graphics.

• Integrate voiceover recordings with figures, diagrams, visuals, and animations

• Improve viewer engagement through effective pacing, transitions, and overlays

• Ensure clarity and accuracy when presenting technical concepts

• Collaborate with the content lead and follow editing guidelines

• Explore and apply new editing tools and techniques

Required Skills

• Interest or Experience with video editing software/tools

• Basic familiarity with motion graphics or visual effects

• Ability to convert technical explanations into clear visual content

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and meet project timelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering or science graduate (Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or related field)
